italians use the verb "attraversare" (to cross) when they talk about crossing the street. i created this blog years ago when i 'crossed over' from college life to teacher life, so that i could periodically sign in and post in italian, thereby attempting to keep my language skills alive. now that i'm here in florence for the month, i'll be using it to keep my loved ones posted!
